Put it on the fire to bake for 3 to 5 minutes. Do not clean it. Let the oil stand in the pot for about 3 hours.First use successful.If it has rusted due to improper use, you can add baking soda, cola or vinegar, clean it thoroughly with a cleaning ball, and then repeat the boiling process to restore it to its original condition.
- Note: Cast iron can rust so keep it out of the dishwasher, do not soak overnight, or air dry. Use warm water and scrape off any stuck food with a flat utensil. You can also lightly polish the cooking surface with a stainless steel chainmail scrubber for a smooth patina. Wipe dry and Fire dry immediately after cleaning, and apply a new layer of oil to protect from rust.
