While not meant to provide a water-tight seal, the smooth-finish nitrile coating offers fantastic grip, even in wet and oily conditions. More than that, it provides toughness, improving the cut and abrasion resistance of the glove. In fact, it delivers ANSI Cut Level 2 cut protection. This heavy duty coating is attached to a similarly rugged jersey lining.
